Tuesday, September 19th at 6:00pm the library will be showing the recently released film Wonder Woman, rated PG-13, starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.

Before she was Wonder Woman (played by Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (played by Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny. Full of blood-pumping action, humor, and Marvel-sized special effects, this film – an instant classic – is one you won’t want to miss.

This movie showing is free of charge. No registration is required, and free popcorn and beverages will be provided. No Cost.

The Webster City Community Chorus, under the direction of Andrew Wotherspoon, beginning rehearsals.

Singers high school age and up are invited to join the group in preparation for its annual holiday concert held the weekend of December 1 & 2.

Vocalists should have basic music reading skills.  Because there are a limited number of practice sessions prior to the concert, members are reminded that rehearsals run more efficiently when everyone is present to cover all the parts.  It is important that members make the commitment to attend the majority of practices.
