The Hamilton County Speedway is the oldest speedway in the state of Iowa, opening in July 1910. In 1938, work began on the current location at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. For the 2018 season, weekly classes will feature the SLMR Super Late Models, USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks & USRA Tuners. Opening night is scheduled for Saturday, April 21st. Pit Gates open at 4:30 pm, spectator gates open at 5pm, hot laps at 6:40 and racing starts at 7.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $8 for juniors (12-16), kids FREE (11 & under). Pit passes are $30 for adults, $20 for youth (6-10), and kids FREE (5 & under).
The track is located off of US 20 at exit 140, then 1.2 miles north, then 0.5 mile east on Bank St., then 0.4 mile south on Bluff St.
